Metallica's James Hetfield back in rehab

16-17 years after his first stint. I haven't seen any signs watching their recent live gigs and they were even playing shows as "S&M 2" with the San Francisco Symphony. Just a few weeks ago they played the best live version of The Outlaw Torn I've ever seen and James was on point. Makes me wonder if it was a bender or if he was sneaking it. Anyway

Caught them in Atlanta a couple years ago at the new baseball stadium. It was nice.

They seemed to be playing at a higher level than they have in a long time which makes it more surprising James was off the wagon. Maybe he performs better that way (he did in the past) or maybe it was a bender like I said. After the way he talked about his wife and with teenage kids I don't think they would put up with the slightest sniff of alcohol on him
