December 2012 got a divorce with a 2 & 4 year old involved and lost my dream home.
Two weeks after the divorce I put my 16 year old dog down.
2 months after that my father died.
Followed all that up with a bankruptcy.

Hey, Applebee's is a great hook up place. Or so I hear.

I heard the same thing. Adjacent to a nice motel and open late at night. Their happy hour includes drinks dubbed "Afternoon Delight" and "Call a Cab." My friend highly recommends it for out of towners and any late night eaters.
