Yeah, because it’s not like it’s a porno where it’s all gorgeous 18-25 yo babes. Most of the CM inmates are probably in the 30-70 range as the younger chicks USUALLY haven’t done enough to be bumped to max security they’re usually in the work camps and medium security.
So I had to watch everything from 40 yo chubsters to 70 yo grannies DJing themselves openly while trying to do my work. And the worst part for me was, the reason we were there was to observe but not listen to opposing counsel doing interviews. It was very explicit in the discovery order that I couldn’t listen but had to observe. The problem was the interview room they gave my “partner” on the other side had only a tiny window so you couldn’t see them from an angle it had be straight on. And directly across from that interview room was the holding cage the inmates were being held in while waiting to interview. And the door to that holding cage has a pretty big slot so that inmates can stick both arms through pretty far so they can be safely shackled and unshackled.
So I was in a situation where I get to close and my “partner” starts whining and complaining about breaching the discovery order and that I was “spying” but step back one inch in the opposite direction and my rump was in grabbing reach. So I ended up getting gross paws all over my keister for the entire day. I complained but the guards (all female) just laughed and laughed.
So not exactly a great day. Oh and I should mention there was a viral outbreak of some sort going on at that prison so everyone is wearing masks. I can’t remembe if it was cholera or meningitis or whatever but it was air and touch born. So as much as I would dislike a 70 yo granny copping a feel it’s even worse when you know she’s probably diseased up the yin yang.
