One thing my son and I were talking about yesterday was the fact that Boston clinched all three of their series on the road. They never put themselves in the position of the pressure of an elimination game.
I'm sure it's happened before but I'm too lazy to look it up.

1976 Reds never lost a playoff game, sweeping 7-0.

1999 Yankees only lost one game going 11-1

2005 White Sox also went 11-1.

1970 Orioles lost one game going 7-1.

And that’s it really. There are some old teams that swept the World Series before there was a pennant series like the 1925 Yankees, but amongst the modern era that’s the list.
