Tiger started today 14 strokes behind. SO the headline should read "Tiger Closes Gap on Leader". Of course they won't mention he is behind by 11. But NBC has to be salivating at having both Woods and Spieth in the same pairing on Sunday.
What are they gonna do if Tiger tanks early but Varner makes a run? Switch African-American loyalties?

To be fair, all Tiger would have to do is shoot a course record 61 and Simpson finish even par to force a playoff tomorrow.

Webb Simpson dominated the first 3 days, and played par golf today ( until the last ) to maintain his lead and become The Players Champ 2018.
In the PGSF, we have a tie for this week. KT used the only Tiger pick and JHN used a very nice pick of Kuchar to beat everyone else who had the highest scoring picked player this week, Jason Day.
