Rickie with a 5 under today after qualifying on the line, hope he is in contention this weekend
Maybe that bodes well for him to backdoor a T5/T10 like he tends to do when he has a poor first round.((((Siggggh)))). Rory's back to his old poor first round play ways. 🙄
Wile E. always bounces back.I have one golfer above the cut line after round 1 and he's (Schauffele) T48. Let the fall from the top begin.
First he has to make the cut. Rory's hanging on by a thread currently.Maybe that bodes well for him to backdoor a T5/T10 like he tends to do when he has a poor first round.
Freaking 7 bogeys in 36 holes. That’s just mentally irregular !First he has to make the cut. Rory's hanging on by a thread currently.
Great! Two made the cut. The only thing saving me is, without looking, I doubt I won't find many Spauns, Strakas, or Merritts in the picks.I have one golfer above the cut line after round 1 and he's (Schauffele) T48. Let the fall from the top begin.
I think BFT nailed it earlier. The guys already pretty much guaranteed to make it to East Lake simply just aren't that motivated this week.Great! Two made the cut. The only thing saving me is, without looking, I doubt I won't find many Spauns, Strakas, or Merritts in the picks.
Hope he can afford to buy a round.
Is it a good or bad thing when your two remaining golfers finish their rounds before the TV broadcast begins?
To quote the knight in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade wrt to my score, " He chose poorly".Sorry for late post, I had to travel last night
Congrats to Zalatoris on his first win, how that ball stayed up is unreal. Straka, you got to take one more club, your only job is not hit the water.
In the PGSF two players had Zalatoris but Bobcat's pick of Fitzpatrick and Finau got him the win
Congratulations to this week's winner @Bobcat07
will post updated leader board shortly
And what in God's green earth was Straka thinking ? Zalatoris seemingly just gave you the tournament. You would have thought either Straka or his caddie would have hit it middle of green with a flipping 8 or 9 iron. You get the ball on the green and take your chances with your putter. To be honest that was crappy golf by both players.
