Made cut. Did not Finish. Basically didn't make the second cut.

I saw one or two others do the same. Why play the tourney then?

On another point, Ollie hitting a PW essentially 200 yards out of the rough is just ridiculous. They need to Ollieproof these courses.

Those players didn't voluntarily withdraw. Too many made the original cut so it gets cut back to a number where the tournament officials are comfortable with finishing during the alloted broadcast time.

I was not aware of such a thing. Then again I am not aware of a lot of things.

Good round of golf today. Interesting comments Faldo made about the pressure Stenson felt after winning the Open and that handing over the trophy may improve his game as he can just focus on golf.
