Things you have learned or purchased because of the Locker Room

'76. No opinions on 'Shine?

I drink a fair amount whether it’s fancy “white whiskey” from places like Maker’s Mark, Buffalo Trace, George Dickel etc, commercial grade “moonshine” like Doc Collier, Popcorn Sutton, Ole Smokey, Sugarlands etc... or machine cleaner/lawnmower fuel created less legally by people I know. It’s not my all time favorite, as I drink more gin, bourbon, Scotch, Canadian whisky and Irish whiskey in that order, but I do probably drink more of the various white dogs than I do vodka, tequila and rum. Right now I know I have five bottles of unflavoured white dogs and about the same in flavored.

Of what I’ve tried, my favorites regardless of whether it’s called moonshine, white dog, white whiskey etc. Is in order the Maker’s Mark White, Doc Collier’s 100 proof, and the Dickel No 1.

For an older dad who is many years removed from junior high and high school math, Photomath app has been a tremendous find.

This is a fantastic app. The only problem I have with it is it does not help with damn word problems.

That you can string the coat hanger hook through the loop on the inside collar of a jacket so it does not slip off.

First and foremost, this forum has been great for travel related recommendations. From places to go, to great hotels/restaurants. I have learned of a few good apps or websites as well. Like Hopper and of course the cheap eye glass website that I always forget the name of. But one of the best products I have purchased due to the Locker Room has to be magnetic collar tabs. Absolutely love these and use them almost daily.

What are some of the best things you have purchased or learned about from the Locker Room?
A teaspoon a day of food-grade diatomaceous earth mixed with juice, yogurt, etc. My wife had bone density problems and was put on a rx that damn near destroyed her throat (one of the 'side' effects). Luckily she stopped the rx before it was too late. Someone here posted something about diatomaceous earth so I researched it and she started taking it. When she had her bone scan about 6 months later they were amazed at how much better the bone density was and told her to keep taking the rx. They were even more amazed when she said she stopped taking it 6 months ago and was using the D.E. One of the staff actually told her that she was using it herself! I take it also and the most noticeable effect on me was my finger nails grow more quickly and are much stronger. NOT medical advice, do your own due diligence and research, but it sure worked for her!

Where do you get food grade DE? I've only seen it in the pool/yard stuff section.
