So how many years does Jimbo last at College Station?

Is a good over/under 4.5?

I think it all comes down to hot hot out the gate he is. If he has 2 big winning seasons, it will get him 5+ (if the next 3 are mediocre). If he comes out with a rough 1st year and the next 2 are also ho-hum, he may only get 4.

So IMO 4.5 is a hard #, but with the investment they made, I take the over.

Course looking at their schedule, they look to be 7-5 and lose the maroon & white game.

Oh Aggies...you have to love them. You'd think with all their money and great facilities, they'd buy a better one than a 8th grade participation trophy.

How could anyone think this is a remotely good idea. Had to be decided after several bourbons. I mean really, who thinks of these things?

It appears that you have not met or associated with the Aggies. This is quite tame for their usual showmanship to cover up their insecurities

Fiji is right. This is tame for Aggy. Their idiocy knows no bounds. There is a reason all of the other Texas schools make fun of them. They're idiots who have an inferiority complex.

Auden Tate turned in a 4.69 40 at the combine. Meanwhile Deion Sanders could probably run that right now:

Izzo only ran a 4.95 40. There’s probably DTs that ran faster times. Brian O’Neill the 6’7” 300 lb OT from Pitt ran a 4.80 40.

Dear Fellow Seminoles:

Five years ago, Florida State University was designated a preeminent university by the Florida Legislature. With that designation came preeminence funding. Within that time and with that funding, FSU climbed 15 spots in the U.S. News and World Report rankings, 10 spots in the last two years, from 48 to 33 of all public universities in the country. This funding is making a difference for FSU.

Today, the legislature is finalizing the 2018-19 state budget and included $20 million for the preeminent universities. But that funding is in doubt. We need your help. Please contact your legislator as soon as possible, letting them know of your support for preeminence funding for Florida State University. A sample message for your use is attached.

Please log-in to Advocate for Florida State and take action now. For your convenience, we have included a draft message for your use. Please remember your communication will be more effective if you personalize the email by telling your legislator why supporting FSU is important to you.

Thank you for your willingness to reach out and advocate for Florida State!

Sincerely,

John Thrasher President

Dear President Thrasher,

There is probably a specific group of alumnus that could be very help with this, if they were so incline to do so.

Josh Sweat had a good day at the combine with position leading (or near leading) results of a 39.5 inch vertical and 4.53 40. He's still projected as a day 2 prospect.

MacFadden probably ran himself out of being a draft pick. He looked terrible during his runs.

Of course, I'm still a glass-half empty type and wonder why we didn't get even more from someone with Sweat's abilities.
