I have never heard and read so much about curling as I have this year. Just don't get it.

It can be fun. Reminds me of shuffle board on ice. Watching it now on the replay on NBC...

I think one of the guys was given a gold medal that had Women's Curling stamped on it.

I thought I heard them say four of the five guys got the women's medal and then quickly gave them the right ones after the ceremony.

Yes, I heard that later too. Originally I had just seen a photo with one guy showing the label. I guess they all got them.

I thought it was all the doping issues, the bastardization of scoring, the lack of realistic American dominance and that it seems almost all Olympic venues are now over 10 hours ahead of live TV time in America.

No, it's that it's the worst ratings for almost everything, all the time. Viewing habits have changed. Everyone's always trying to nail it to an "issue".

Anyway, we watched more than we have in recent years, because my son got into it, and with the Apple TV app you can watch what you want when you want. Really enjoyed the curling a great deal actually, and stayed up to like 4am watching the gold medal game, what a game. Crazy how long both teams managed to make such great throws for so long, and just a couple being a little off as the match went on were so huge. Really tense until they broke it open.

And I heard about this, so I made my son look it up for me...a figure skater from Hungary or something skated to AC/DC. Wow, I'm all in for that, both the music and the costume. Would totally like to see more in that direction...personally the skating looks very much the same to me otherwise...as mentioned earlier, all I can really do is count the times they fall down. Would love to see a little more variety.
