Well it is only on the last page and I should have went there first I guess. Always one in the crowd.

Amazing to me that a school would go to such lengths to steal a 5-6 coach, and then give him a 10 yr/$70m deal.

I get that he has a great track record but if you've actually watched any of our games this year you would never think the guy is worth anything close to that.

That would be more than Saban makes, sans resume.

BREAKING: By Jimbo Fisher skipping town so far, FSU's offense has improved from 127th to 115th in adjusted tempo metric.

Man, Jimbo is going to regret leaving next year.

We’ve got a pretty manageble schedule. Clemson at home, Florida at home, Da Ewe away, Noter Lame away, NC State away and Louisville Away. I think we’re looking at a 2-3 loss maximum next year.

At Texas A&M on the other hand, next year he has to play Clemson OOC, at Alabama, at Souff Cakalacky, at Auburn, at Miss State, LSU at home and Ole Miss at home. So he’s going to lose at least five next year which is what got Sumlin fired.

And sure he’ll be able to recruit and may improve his team but in 2019 he’s got Clemson away, Georgia away, LSU away, Ole Miss away, and Alabama, Auburn and Miss State at home. That’s looking like another five loss season.

The good news for him is that if he gets fired after those losses in 2019, the UT job will still be open for him to go coach there.

Taggart or bust at this point. And please lil 8lb jesus, lets get him and not look like the clownshow at ut.

Amazing how most of us have 180'd on jimbo in 2-3 days. I woulda had his babies after the 2013 season, but since then its been a slow decline turned into a faceplant this yr. Glad to see him go now, especially if he ran off without speaking to the players today.

Just saw that Jimbo just met with the team, but they all found out by social media earlier. Also read that Trey was seen bawling, leaving the Moore center (dont know about that one).
Taggart looking more and more likely, at least from an FSU vantage point. Cristobal, our old pal Ron Dugans (coach now at the u) and Levitt should be coming as well. That would be huge!

Another said that our favorite agent, Sexton, is at the Moore right now and has been there all day. And well whataya know...guess who Taggart's agent is.....yep, Sexton, the grand master wizard behind the curtain on all of this.

I will not let the events of the last two weeks overshadow the last eight years.
  1. Though it ended differently than anyone, including Jimbo, thought it would he still accomplished many great things at FSU. He brought structure to a program that was greatly lacking it, brought us a third MNC and Heisman winner, don't know how many ACC titles, dominance over our in state rivals, the IPF and other tremendous facility improvements. For all of that I will be forever grateful.

At the end of the day, college football at this level is a big business and he made the best decision for him. I wish him and his family nothing but the best

I more or less agree.

But then another part of me thinks Jimbo Fisher "should die of gonorrhea and rot in hell."
