Commitments in the areas we need the last few days. Out of state as well which is great (Cali/Georgia).
Agree. The connections established by Taggart and the staff while in Oregon may pay dividends.Yep. I’m thinking there’s going to be a couple more great Westside Noles before everything is said and done.
i mean.. you get a lot just by following the ticker on the right, as well as warchant, Gene, Corey, etc on Twitter. If they can make it public there...
Keep it in this thread and I'll allow it.No use arguing, dem’s da rulz.
Does it make sense? Nope.
1500th post!!!!
do I win a prize?
I agree with what you said but am still a bit surprised by the hire. Generally when a coach is fired from a P5 school, they don't get an immediate opportunity at another one.Has it been mentioned that one of the namesakes of our thread was hired at Arizona. That is a good fit hire. Sumlin knows the area to recruit and runs an uptempo offense that fits current players.

So everybody on Twitter is now saying it’s a done deal with Walt Bell to be passing OC, Honestly, at this point I don’t care we just need a body. BUT....after reading up on him he’s probably a better fit, a slightly smarter X&Os guy and definitely a better person than Locksley just not quite as good at Crootin and doesn’t have the Bama panache.
Here's an article explaining Bells offense when he was hired at Maryland.

I like this hire. Everything i have read about the guy seems positive and i like people that make smart moves for themselves. Up and coming coach who will be a HC in the near future that gives himself exposure to the an excellent recruting staff while making connections in the south for his on recruiting one day, smart.
I just noticed FSU plays Samford this year. That explains why Jimbo left.
My guess is either Jacksonville or Orlando is trying to get FSU to replace a home game for one there. There is precedence for that.Speaking of future seasons, 2019 is showing a game against Boise St that is TBD, but the 2020 Boise St is listed as "Away". Anyone know why 2019 isn't set as home? Just assuming we'd do a home/away series with them.
