#100pagesnatty Thread 11/08/18 #63pagesnattynumber1 #106pagesnattynumber2

I agree DF has sacrificed immeasurable amounts to be playing here. But he does need to work on some things.

First is touch passes and better leading of receivers on swing routes. He leads very well on throws over the middle, but not to the flats.

Second is pocket awareness. Our line is bad but we've taken sacks that are on Francois for not feeling pressure or stepping up.

Third is trajectory on deep passes. He tends to overthrow deep passes.

Fourth is the operation of the zone/read and ball-handling in general. His movements are mechanical and deceive nobody.

All that said, I can't think of many QB's who don't have things to work on and he has been largely a strong asset for this team.

I can agree with that. I do think he's demonstrated he can make all the throws given time though. Can you imagine his numbers with Bama or OSU's OLine?

When was the last time FSU was a 12-13 point underdog to Miami? Not that I don’t disagree.

Only hope is that offensive magic we saw last part of game was them figuring it out....and our defense gets taught that “sometimes” receivers and tight ends will look to catch balls in the middle of the field.

If UL connected on half the balls that they threw over the middle (and dropped), FSU would have lost by 3 TD. UL exposed that FSU has a HUGE gap in that area. You know Miami was watching. Im sure they spent plenty of time working on, lets see what adjustments were made.

Can't find the link, but I believe Miami was favored by 14 in '02.
I would be surprised if it was that high. They were 1 at time but we were like 10-12 (living off the dynasty era). And we should have won. That game is in my top 10 FSU loss sads. I fantasized about how satisfying it would be to punch their mocking kicker

We have 2 issues which are the linebackers freezing and the safeties playing up too far or getting distracted to the sidelines. In one sense it does help our run defense but yeah we can’t live like that.

So, is there a benefit to getting 100 pages quickly, or do we slow down and savor the flavor? Revenge and a return to elite are best served slow and flavorful...
FSU will return to elite status and gain revenge.

Again, everyone needs to remember that it's three years from reaching 100 pages that a national championship will come our way. Might as well get the clock ticking.

FSU-Miami in the 80s and 90s...

Looks like the Slim Reaper is getting reps at the 1 spot.

BUT....unfortunately it looks like Frenchy is entrenched.
