What do the defendants and Mother Adleson say when they are asked about the $50k in checks? They were from the dental practice, correct?

I doubt that Rivera has the goods on the Adelsons, but he surely does on Garcia, so this will put the heat on Garcia to give up the Adelsons.
Disagree. I don't think we are dealing with a Mensa candidate here nor a sophisticated crime family. He probably told him about everything about who was paying and why.
I don't do criminal law, but it seems like inadmissible hearsay. Whatever Garcia told Rivera can be used against Garcia, but it's going to be tricky to use the co-conspirator exception to get that admitted against the Adelsons, I would think, because there's a double-hearsay issue. Unless, of course, Rivera was directly privy to some of those conversations. Maybe it all comes in because they are all co-conspirators. Regardless, I would feel much better having the testimony of the guy (Garcia) who dealt directly with Katherine M. and Charlie Adelson. Then there's the challenge of going up the rung to Donna Adelson. Harvey and Wendi may walk.
Got to think Meggs and everyone involved wants Donna, Charlie, etc. doubt they'd give too sweet of a deal without getting the bigger fish.
It doesn't look like they have anything at this point to connect his ex-wife. But man I hope the kids realize she at minimum knew about it and was fine with it and then completely cut ties with her and her family and change their name back once they are old enough. And then these actions in turn cause the mother and grandmother to kill themselves.
I predict he was privy and maybe even actually met in person with Garcia and Charlie and Sister. They also made several calls in the car.
