The moral of my story is, always buy Toyota.

My wife’s mother and stepfather (is step father-in-law a thing?) owned a used car lot in Clearwater and got my 4Runner from an auction in the Tampa area. I told them what I wanted and they kept their eyes peeled for something meeting my selection criteria. When they found one, they gave it a thorough review and we went from there.

Haha, I had to write, edit, go check year models by headlights, add ones I forgot. Save, edit, change, then post. But I only have 2 decades of driving, not 4 or so like some people!

2011 Shelby GT500 summer fun since I live in Vermont.

My brother has a 2011 Shelby GT500. It is in immaculate condition. He told me a while back that if anything happened to him the car was to go to me. I asked him where he kept his guns. He has done quite a bit to his car. Changed out the driveshaft to a one piece, changed supercharger, pulleys, exhaust, etc. I think he told me it dynos at around 750 hp.
