"Not all of my posts are stupid; many get hundreds of views and turn into multipage threads. I'm trying to generate some discussion on this board because it's dreadfully dull and boring because of overmoderating.

The LR is a shell of it's former self and it's sad how far it's fallen.

I assure you there are many other old time posters that feel the same way; many of them don't even bother to post here anymore.

I think his threads aren't problematic, and that people do end up responding to them. There's probably a point of diminishing returns, but they don't bother me.

I also don't think there's a moderation problem.

He could slow down on the thread creation, I find myself rolling my eyes when I login and see 1/3 of the threads are his, however; at the same time I find one or two that are nteresting and end up posting in.

Lurker should be banned because he has been banned in the past with a different username. I thought it was against the rules to create new usernames and come back. If you want to let him back then send a blast email to all the other perma-banned people and let them know they are free to come back with a different username.

Also, for those that find him annoying and don't want to read his stuff, don't read it...ignore him.

I learned long ago that no one is untouchable, no matter how rich, attractive, and charming I/they might be. I think there's a lot of room here to create threads, have conversations, and joke around. But still, it's rarely a good idea to poke the bear - you'd be better off just accepting that everyone has differences, accepting them, and being yourself - without being an exaggerated version of yourself.

Agreed. DFS and Shaolin are/were the joint best mods of all time for my money. They’re in the LR Mod Hall of Fame.

His poll wasn’t biased, it was a fair question. I do struggle as to whether I like you on the board, you can be overbearing at times.

His point that you have been permanently band twice prior is reason enough to permanently ban you again. But he is taking the democratic approach to your fate and then of course you choose to lash out at him with aligations of him picking on you without cause...it’s that kind of stuff that keeps you in trouble.

You have to learn when to hold em’, know when to fold em’....

I like @DFSNOLE I would have a Mich Ultra with him at a tailgate. He's a fair moderator and should be an example for some of the bad ones on here. Witht that said, I think Brian @Lurker1999 @BrianNole09 is a fantastic soul with a heart of gold and his threads are the best. He never attacks anyone. People tend to attack him. I've seen this played out in the Bible.

Be on the right side of history @DFSNOLE don't allow the critics and their PM's influence you. They need to exercise the ignore button.

My LR experience has improved dramatically since then. I highly recommend it for others.

I could ban you "just because I want to" if I so chose. I'm the one who let you back in under certain conditions some of which you're adhering to, others not. Your problem is you're reverting back to what earned you the two previous bans. While the name changes, the poster remains the same.

I was a Mod way back years ago. After my daughter was born I didn't have a lot of free time to hang out on Warchant so I gave it up (2006 - 2007 timeframe). Things have drastically changed in the past year+, so I spend a lot more time here again.
