The poll is irrelevant - Brian is brian. Even if you let him stay now he's bound to do something stupid and get banned again. It may take a week, or a month, or 6 months, but he's on the clock. Then he'll wait a few months and start over with a new screen name and the same tired routine.
Yeah. I just went and read the thread started over there. It seems his claim of popularity there is greatly overstated. I'll have to adjust the results of the poll accordingly.

He was treated unfairly for opinions that didn't kowtow to the echo chamber you call HROT.
I don't claim or care if I'm popular over there. There is lots of fighting going on all day on HROT. It's no fun.

Elections have consequences. I hope they can accept the poll results in a civil manner but recent studies show us they will resist.
When my freedom of speech was suppressed here for a year I had to find a new board to read.
I have full control over whether the poll results are accepted or not. Votes outside the Warchant family will be considered null and void.
There is no freedom of speech on a privately owned message board. I don't understand why folks can't grasp that concept.
I respect that, but wouldn't a more fair poll question be: "Do you want Brian/Lurker to be banned from the LR?"
