I find lurker mostly amusing. The constant threads are sometimes worth an eye roll but usually have the same intent/effect as the "what if" and "do you think..." questions of a drunk guy at the bar. Which are amusing if you want to engage. It usually does give people something to debate, usually harmless. He rarely goes after people, freely uses his like button. Even when lurker disagrees he is less aggressive than many here.
He does like to push DFS' buttons so its likely a pain DFS exclusively feels because you represent "the law". @DFSNOLE , suck it up buttercup.
I say he lives another day.

If people are disinterested in his thread topics, one need simply ignore them. Seems like the board can choose on a thread by thread basis.

Do the benefits of him being here outweigh the negatives of him being here? I'd have to say yes, he's livened things up around here (that's undeniable) and for that we sometimes have to put up with his over-posting and him asking crazy questions..........IMO, that's a fair trade.

I think you'd find that it'd all go a lot more smoothly if you didn't feel obligated to push back every time. If DFS cut you a break and let you back, then appreciate the break and maybe just accept that some things strike people differently than others. Calling him out is only going to get you re-banned, regardless of the poll results. If you want to stick around, it seems like you have the opportunity, but I figure there's a limit to the leash you've gotten.
Ar we going by popular vote, or electoral college? I think we need to plot out the locations of the voters and see which side wins the most states.

As a real world button pusher, I am constantly amazed how people don't know how to read where the line is. But I agree with everything you said. Hand that feeds you etc etc. If he can't figure out part of the purpose of the poll is to give lurker ANOTHER warning, he is just destined to be banned eventually. Perhaps sooner than later.
It's like he gets off on it......he can't help himself. So it will happen again........
