Finally!

Okay so I didn’t get lucky, but did experience something been trying to do for 15 years or so

Went to Metallica concert in Tampa Sunday night!!

With my son

Had a ball, those guys played 16 song’s really without a break

And their songs are long

I was amazed that those old farts could still do it

And you can tell they absolutely love it!

Great time with my son, this like our 6 th concert since he was in 7 th grade

Aerosmith
Ozzie/with slash opening
Metallica

I’m leaving some out

I’m a classic rock guy with zep and sabbath etc, and certainly Metallica ranks way up there, and have had their music age well but I don’t consider them classic rock

It’s cool when your children ask you to go with them to concerts etc instead of their friends!!

We saw Hootie and the Blowfish with our kids and had a great time. My wife and I also went to a couple of shows where my son was playing. Given it was a hard-core show with a mosh pit up front, these two old folks hid in the back of the venue.

LOL they were too young at the time to go to a Metallica concert by themselves!
We took them to a U2 concert and to The Rolling Stones also.
