The Moderna vaccine posted a study the other day where it said it was 76 percent effective at preventing the Delta variant. Some anecdotal information: I work in business that employs around 500 people. I have knowledge of the current absences due to Covid. Dozens of people. Virtually all were unvaccinated.
You wanting to be ruled over has nothing to do with Accountability. Now maybe your reply was a tongue and cheek but I've seen too many on here say they want they want forced vaccines and rights taken away from unvaccinated. We moving into dangerous territory.

Ruled over? I was given an opportunity to get vaccinated and I chose to after carefully considering the information available to me. Stop with the theatrics. If you decide differently that is obviously your choice. But own it and the consequences. None of this is being forced on you despite you attempts to claim otherwise.
Well, I admit that what I'm stating about the virus changes based on new evidence that is discovered. That's because this is a new virus and new studies/data regarding how it interacts with the population is constantly changing.

I think there are a lot very mistaken people who think the CDC is comprised entirely of government sheep when it's actually a whole lot of very impressive, very well educated scientists who rely on sets of scientific studies and data to make informed, collective decisions.
For years the center was the benchmark for reliable information in domestic and global crisis. Now in some circles it appears to be regarded somewhere below witch doctors. Most likely fueled by the interactions with certain prominent people in the last couple of years.

There has been lots of balls dropped in the last 18 months. Some of what you write is valid. A great number of things you aren’t mentioning they got right. And as more is known and politics is kept separate I’m going to bet the success rate improves. Science isn’t perfect and evolves in an instant.
The credibility of the CDC took a major hit early, when they contradicted those saying things like: "its a very mild disease, we have like 8-10 cases, and it's going to just disappear come warm weather.". They've been paying for that, and similar indiscretions, ever since.
I don't act like anything, just good at measuring the temperature and assessing reality. But honestly how hard could ruling be when there's plenty of people that seem to like being lied to.
