Going out to eat this evening in Tally...

Is there still a Morrison's in Tally?
No, sorry. We were joking about the long-closed restaurants in Tally. Whenever someone on these boards mentions good places to eat, the first respond is often Nicholson's because it has been closed for years. Hilltopper listed some old places and I added a few.

True fact - many, many years ago my wife and I stood in line at Morrison's at Tallahassee Mall behind Coach Jake Gaither. It looked like everyone in the place was looking at us until I recognized Coach Gaither in front of us. Very respected man in this community.

Rodizios.

Who else remembers that thread where someone complained in here about coworkers getting sick and the meat smelling like bleach. Then somehow the manager got wind and created an account just to come and blow up on the op. Then a few weeks later they were hit by the health dept and shutdown not much later.

That was a great thread and Rodizios is usually what I recommend.

IMO Khyber has better naan, but Persis is better overall and right across the street.
I've heard that. Unfortunately it was closed the day I was trying to eat there (they're closed on Mondays).

Maybe I'll get some if I'm back around during football season.

Khyber also has the Indian grocery a few doors down, they have giant samosas for $1 each, very good when fresh.
