Are you 10 years old ... or are you jokin ...

They do not want to the facts .. they do not care if it is true. They are making a political statement that there is a rape epidemic on campuses and they only want clips that support the narrative. This is not a documentary in the sense of the truth and both sides. It is political hit piece presented as a documentary .. same stuff Michael Moore does.

Oh but they left a couple weeks open for possible editing. What a crock.

Exactly. You spend a year making a film and don't ask for the other side's story until after the film is completed, but if they had responded we would have edited it in? Yeah right. They had no intention of ever being fair

She has to say something before daddy cuts her out of the family and will for being a.......... Cause you know if friends and family cut them out it's a problem.lol

Re: Doc Film Director Responds to Thrasher

Not sure why the film maker does not just change the name of the movie to.

"The JW rape case"

According to some remarks I've read on this board over the last year, her daddy has no will because he has little net worth.

Re: "I'm fairly certain there was something in that drink."

I'm beginning to think SHE must have put something in Jameis' drink to make him take this lying nut job home for a one night stand.

This is FALSE. The father is doing just fine. Stop repeating it.

Re: "I'm fairly certain there was something in that drink."

We look pathetic smearing the father. He said himself he knew nothing about the other boyfriend because Erica hid him from him. He was as surprised as anyone he existed. All the father did was rush to Tally in the middle of the night to support his daughter after her girlfriend made the call Erica told her not to make. No father wants to hear that call. As for him being poor because he owns a family electrician business? That's cluuueless. They are NOT poor as much as you guys keep repeating the falsehoods. Leave the father out of it!

I agree with this post but you could have kept out the 10 years old stuff.

And from what I understand ( i have not seen it) the winston case is only a very small part of this movie. But they are promoting it like its the Winston Rape movie. What a joke.

Do you know the father or family personaly?

Re: "I'm fairly certain there was something in that drink."

I know for a fact that he's not poor. I think the rumor started when someone posted a photo of his "house" from Google Maps Street View, which is shabby. But that's not their house. Its well behind that house. I believe the house posted was a rental of theirs. They are NOT poor. Rich? No, not that either. But better than most.

I feel sorry for the father. It must be embarrassing as hell. He didn't deserve this. Or having this explode due to his money-grabbing lawyer in-law.

Re: Doc Film Director Responds to Thrasher

Who the heck films a movie and sends it to a festival and then ask if someone wants to be included later? Sounds like this guy struggles with Joe the film industry works.

Except that the father is a racist or has a problem with her fooling around with African Americans. At the end of the day, he's old enough to read the facts from the different reports and get a good idea of what's happened. His integrity does deserve to be questioned for going the publicity route every time instead of approaching it as a legal matter.

That whole family wants a handout.

Re: "I'm fairly certain there was something in that drink."

Jeezus christ now he's a poor right wing racist. You guys are sad.

Re: Doc Film Director Responds to Thrasher

It just does not get any easer to find the answer. When they asked for FSU to comment was during the COC hearing before the judge had given his verdict , at that time FSU could not have answered any of their questions anyway. Which is why they asked when they did.

Re: "I'm fairly certain there was something in that drink."

That's not what was said. Your reinterpretation of what people have posted and denigration of it without posting any sort of logical retort is "sad."e;

I have patients all the time who know I am an FSU fan.

Multiple times I get questions or comments from them about Jameis. You know, the usual negative stuff. Related to the false allegations case.

I almost wish I had a piece of paper that had the web address of the article(s) that I could hand them and say "read these, then let me know what you think"

Even better with one of those QR or bar code things they can just scan with their phone and the truthful article(s) come up for them.( the idea being to makie it easy for them to get them as clearly they aren't going to search for them)

Re: Doc Film Director Responds to Thrasher

This great work of fiction is nothing more than a conclusion in search of a good BS story. Hemingway must be rolling in his grave. Those of you that have visited or lived in Key West have probably visited his house and all those cats. The story of all his adventures with pussies all have the ring of truth but on the the other hand....

Re: "I'm fairly certain there was something in that drink."

Who was she hiding the fact that she dated black guys? Her family. Now do I know that her dad had a problem with that? Not for sure, but someone or multiple people did. Given how this has gone down, the whole family has some explaining to do.

Re: "I'm fairly certain there was something in that drink."

Their house has a pool and a spa, a large detached garage, and they have a motorhome in the yard in the street view image.

Is that enough to refute the poor claims?

How does her hiding a black boyfriend prove the father is racist? Jeeze oh Peete. And he didn't say the alleged racist statement, the Aunt did.

Re: "I'm fairly certain there was something in that drink."

I fail to see how the family's financial situation makes any difference whatsoever.

What it proves is someone is. Dad, mom, aunt, granny? I don't know, but someone is.

Re: "I'm fairly certain there was something in that drink."

I think you're lying to yourself if you don't think most parents might have an issue about biracial dating. Maybe, maybe not, but she avoided it completely by not telling daddy. Does NOT prove by any stretch he is racist. You guys are scraping the bottom of the barrel with the leaps of judgement and it's nauseating.

Re: "I'm fairly certain there was something in that drink."

I'm all in for leaving Dad out of the discussion, his natural inclination is to protect his daughter ( for all you out there who have daughters know what I mean ) and I don't know what his profession has to do with this unless you want to paint him as needing a big payday. Now uncle Pat... that my friends is a different story. Every time I think about her PC in the park with the packets and confusion and that goofy gator fan yelling " Go gators " with her yelling "Please rerain ". Well that my fellow Noles is mining pure 24 karat Gold. Doesn't get much better than that. I remember the look on that cops face went from fairly neutral to getting progressively pissed off.

Re: Doc Film Director Responds to Thrasher

They have already made a ton on this. It was sold to CNN for prime time airing. That's how these films make money. They made millions off of Winstons back.

Not always. It depends on a large number of variables.

Sounds extreme left wing to me. Perhaps you need to read up a little on extreme race-based ideology.
