PGSF FedEx Cup Week 28 The Open Championship

I forget which putting stat Chamblee mentioned but Stenson was ranked 187th in some putting category coming into The Open. He was anything but that 187th ranked putter the entire tourney.

I hate to be a person caught in the moment, but that has to be in the conversation for greatest round of golf played. Stenson has always been known as a good (great) ball striker, which was great today, but his putting was incredible. The 15th sealed the deal with that bomb, when it looked like Phil might have a chance to close the gap. That was such a fun round of golf to watch. No one would have taken a bet that Mickelson shoots 65 and loses by 3, incredible round by Stenson. Today is why we are all golf fans.
No doubt. That was by far the best final round of a major I've ever witnessed in my lifetime. It was pure genius play by both players, not one winning because another faltered.
