I am little faith here and feel the prosecution won't win. It's the same gut feeling I have about the Markel case.
I still don't see the connection that kills reasonable doubt. Sure, I think she's guilty but where is the connection that ultimately says she's guilty beyond a reasonable doubt
Is this trial still set to begin next week?
We should go to professional juries.Apparently having a hard time finding a jury of people who don't know much about the case....Bringing another pool after lunch
Not sure about TV but WCTV is streaming it on their fb page.Is the trial being televised ?
From WCTV's current front page story....
The prosecutor says Denise Williams and Brian Winchester’s ex-wife were lifelong friends. He claims after Winchester’s 2017 arrest, his ex-wife became a source for FDLE. He claims she got a text message from Denise Williams that said, “Tell Marcus to tell Brian that I didn’t say anything to FDLE.”
Um, how in the hell does this not directly implicate Marcus as having knowledge of the crime? How in the hell was the entire Winchester family given immunity? SOB, this is looking like exactly what I feared it was.
An entire family coverup? Marcus doesn’t have immunity?
Oh there's additional evidence. Trust me.
Told ya

The prosecutor said Winchester’s ex-wife agreed to record a phone conversation with Denise Williams. The jury will hear that recording.

I agree with you and @JohnnieHolmesNole . My guess is BW was able to give the state a few little nuggets to corroborate his statements. I bet they have a little more than we realize.
But it's obvious what happened, his story makes total sense. They kill him to get rich and get married, so what happened? He was killed and they got rich and married.
Got her. I've tried a few links, what is a good one to watch live?

Thanks. I don't bookface so can't access that. The WCTV Facebook page is what I’m watching. Can’t believe Winchester is on already...
I don't think that's a big deal.Brian isn't doing any favors by saying "Denise had cold feet..."
Pretty close... A couple things though. Is there a quick cheat sheet to catch me back up to date.
I remember that the victims best friend and the victims wife had an affair and conspired to kill the victim for insurance purposes.
After they killed him, they collected the insurance money and then married.
10 years later they divorce. The wife calls the police on her ex for demostic vilolence. He is arrested and sentenced to jail. There he strikes a deal with the DA confessing to the murder of his best friend and conspiring with the victims then wife, and now his ex wife.
I don’t remember the names, can some help with clarity on that end.
And did I get any of the details wrong?
I don't think there is any proof they had an affair before Mike was killed.
Per the Tallahassee Democrat, the prosecution's opening statement included this bombshell:
Fuchs told the jury Winchester and Denise Williams, who is charged with her husband's murder, dated for three years prior to Mike Williams’ murder. He also said evidence will show Brian, his former wife Kathy Thomas and Denise Williams had sexual relations together in Panama City before Mike Williams was killed.
Playing devil's advocate... presumably he's getting all of this information from Brian. There wasn't text messages 20 years ago... Prosecutors can basically say anything they want in opening arguments.Per the Tallahassee Democrat, the prosecution's opening statement included this bombshell:

Unfortunately, I'm very skeptical she will be found guilty.
Easy for her to paint the picture that Brian was obsessed and wanted her for himself.
I hope I am wrong.
What happened to @JohnnieHolmesNole ? The sex tape is here Johnnie.Per the Tallahassee Democrat, the prosecution's opening statement included this bombshell:

Disagree. It's very obvious what happened and it will be hard for her to paint the picture that she wasn't involved.Playing devil's advocate... presumably he's getting all of this information from Brian. This was presented by the prosecution at the end of their opening statement (per the Tallahassee Democrat):
