Here are my thoughts as a fan since the 80’s, season ticket holder and booster (in other words I got an investment in this thing). I’m not happy. I feel cheated, lied to, and frustrated. I don’t know as much football as Mike Norvell, Adam Fuller, or even Willie Taggart. But some of the things I see on Saturdays just blow me away like all out blitzs on 3rd and forever or 2 deep man under in 4th and 60 (as
@CoreyClark says) or running a quarterback lead off tackle (who almost lost his leg) on 4th down play where no interior run has worked all day.
This team not only doesn’t know how to win, they know how to lose. They do everything they can to give the games away. It’s culture - winning is a learned behavior; unfortunately so is losing.
So here is my choice…..I’m going to keep tailgating. I’m going to do all the cheers, do the warchant, stand up and shout, and support the teams, coaches, and administration. I’m going to choose not to be negative because my life is frustrating enough, I’m not going to let FSU football (even though it’s one of my passions) add any negativity into my life. I’m asking that you do the same. I’m not saying you have to accept the results on what we are seeing. But you don’t have to add gas on the dumpster fire.
We are all frustrated but don’t let FSU football make your life miserable. Travis Hunter is still committed, focus on that if nothing else. Choose to be positive, these players and recruits need to see a passionate fan base that is going to support them no matter what, not one that is going to point out the mistakes and remind them how bad the sledding is right now.
That’s my thoughts, I would love to hear yours
