MM was a heisman candidate on UCF and he’s interception throwing 2nd team scrub on FSU. Our coaching is horrendous!!!

At Wake Norvell goes for it on his own 30 early in the second qt. Later at the press conference when asked about the pick 6 on 4th and 2 he says very confidently it was the right play. We had only run out of the wildcat all year. The stats showed that Wake would bite on the run and not expect Corbin to throw the fade to Milton. He then said it was the right call and he'd do it again. Wake 30 FSU 27. I want a souvenir cup JaxSt memorial cup at the next home game. Soda should be half Even Williams served in the cup.

Wasn’t he know for having a high octane creative offenses and disciplined motivated teams?

And teams that actually won games?

What good things did he do at Memphis that he IS doing at FSU?

Yes I know his tenure with FSU has not been long but do we see any progress? Or regression?

If CMN is replaced in the next couple years?

Here’s the thing today, and it’s not just FSU.

There are not tons of great coaches. In fact there are very few. Those are worth millions.

But we have lots of programs that want great coaches. So in the end the market is out of whack.

Teams just can’t hire on rational contracts. An unproven coach with potential is needed many places. But they don’t need to be paid like they’ve won. The system would be better if we could hire coaches for 750k with great incentives. Maybe a little more. But not a ton. Make it performance based. Then when coaches do well they will do well. When they’re not ready for prime time they won’t become rich at the expense of programs.

What sucks is I don’t see a solution. The need to win NOW is too high and too many programs are going after the same scant resource. And more and more are going to be able to eat the cost of being wrong more than FSU can.

It’s a mess.

So he can have immediate input into the staff makeup going forward.

Can’t find a receiver

It’s like Dillingham and Norvell have no clue what to do when they get behind the sticks. Either due to penalties or sack, they seem to think the drive is over if this happens.

How do they hold players accountable for drive killing turnovers or penalties on offense? How do they hold them accountable for drive extending penalties or missed assignments on defense?

I’d really like to know.

Good game. Don't love either school but I dislike Auburn less than PSU. Hope the Allbarners can get this one.

If Wake can push us around who do we have a chance a beating this year? The only possible wins I see are UMASS, Syracuse, and BC with two of those games being toss ups. This is going to be ugly and I don't see how Norvell survives a 2 or 3 win season.

Literally demoted his DC and gave playcalling duties to someone else. Didn’t work all that well but at least it was an attempt at an solution for a problem.

We need solutions.. Shannon runs the defense for Louisville and then we assess film Monday the following week.

Nothing more than a salesman who says all the right words. He is most definitely ALL talk and he has fooled everyone from the administration, fans and WARCHANT.COM and it’s staff. I believe behavior period.

With our O-line Jordan Travis needs to take a 5 or 7 step drop to allow receivers to get open. Fire Dillingham and make Randy Shannon the play caller. Her should know Norvell's offense by now

Does anyone remember that we went to a bowl game Willies last season? Programs take time to turn around and our impatience, along w jimbo, got us to this low. “We” ran The last coach out of town and we won’t be able to do that again, we don’t have the funds. We just have to hope for the best through recruiting, new coordinateds (asap pleas), etc and deal with it. Just the reality in my opinion.

If we continue to suck the next few games, Norvell has to fire at least one or both coordinators. This needs to be done to save the recruiting class.

Then, at least, they can see that there is a chance to get better.

Take away King and they don’t even make a bowl.

They kinda look like FSU but better.

even if there was money. That's been proven. No executive suite of football gurus....not interested in a search firm or new president or interim AD...can't really do anything until the top floor is filled out...

A seven year old boy was at the center of a Leon County courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy had a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in
keeping with child custody law and regulation requiring that family unity be maintained to the highest degree possible.

The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried and said that they also beat him. After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him.

After two recesses to check legal references and confer with the child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Florida State Seminoles, whom the court firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.
