People keep saying we should fire our OC, but has anyone confirmed with the staff that the OC has been calling plays and is responsible for the game plan? Norvell is an offense guy. It’s hard for me to think he would allow dillingham to have autonomy if norvell didn’t like what was happening in game prep, game planning and play calling. And if Norvell has been fully involved with setting the game plan and also is calling the plays, then what the heck do we do at this point?

How many years did Jimbo and Willie not recruit OLs? There were some years where we’d take only 1 or 2. Im a firm believer it all begins on the lines. OL takes years to build because most freshman can’t play D-1 ball. It takes them 3 years usually to be reliable. The fact we are still playing Baveon says a lot. He’s horrible. We recruited okay last year but we need a couple GREAT OL classes and then develop them. CMN knows this because he went hard after transfers and got Gibbons but that’s it. We needed more. Sigh.

I know we are in a rebuild, it’s worse than we all wanted to think, but it is.

My issue is not that we lose @ Wake when being underdogs, my issue is that Norvell still didn’t answer any questions…

- Who’s our QB1? Why not just let Milton start and go…. He threw 2 passes before being replaced

- Can you get rid of the ticky tac calls and just play straight up football? Nope

- Can you clean up the penalties? Nope

- Can you convert 2 yards when you need it? Nope

worst part about this is not the loss, but that we are all still asking the same questions as last week.

He talks about replacing coaches after they leave for promotions, but does he have the guts to put the program first and fire his friends? Jimbo struggled with this too.

No way we go 6-6 or bowling any more. Milton is no longer valuable to us beyond some media points. Norvell needs to decide if he is investing in Travis for the long haul. If not, which is what I suspect, then play Purdy. The rest of the way. Even if we don’t win a game, get that kid ready for next year as much as possible.

Same goes for any grad transfers. We need to be in favor of the youth movement now if we want any success next year.

Every single desision maker that was involved with hiring Taggart and Norrvell won't be here to hire the next HC. Lets all suck it up, get through the next few years by not firing coaches and paying buyouts. If Norrvell doesn't work out just don't renew his contract. Dugans contract ends this year. So there is one position coach to fix. I think two or three more years of this and we will have all the Taggart staff paid off and most of the Norrvell contracts ending. Then hopefully an actual big time AD will hire a HC with BIG TIME FOOTBALL experience. No more dear in the headlights CONF USA coaches

I’m truly at a loss for words. Wake effing Forest. No pride. No adjustments. Just worthless hope. I’m delusional thinking we’ll see improvements. I truly truly truly like Norvell but we should see more than this. I want to grasp onto something, anything to keep my Seminole love afloat but all I see are bamboo rafts sinking. I give money (lots of it) and yet this is us. Can we at least be Mississippi State? West Virginia? Illinois? UCLA? to begin thinking there is a base to build off of and use our brand to get to the next level??? I feel destroyed as a fan. It’s that bad and there is nothing we can do about it but take abuse from friends. I’m so Gaddam sad. Fuuuucccccckkkkk.

Pick a QB. Stick with the same QB until he is either hurt or is so bad that leaving him in is doing nothing. . Hell it could be Purdy for all I care. Obviously the rotating experiment is not working

I’d be really curious to read more about what the folks that run boosters and some of the really big boosters are thinking right now.

I have to assume that if you could get to them and ask the right questions you might get some really interesting insights on what’s the mood behind the scenes.

There are 64 teams in the Power 5 + Notre Dame. Who and haw many could we win against?

SEC - Possibly Vandy or Tennessee

Big 10 - Possibly Rutgers, Maryland, Illinois

ACC - Possibly Syracuse

Big 12 - Kansas

Pac 12 - Possibly Washington State, Arizona and Oregon State

I'm not saying we would beat them. We might only win half those games.
