Any legitimate journalist worth their salt would be all over this. The Gainesville media is so far in UF's pocket that it casually falls by the wayside.

Sounds like at a minimum the sheriff should request ‘risk protection orders’ from a judge to seize the Gators’ armory, before someone gets hurt.
