Hey, check out my new bling!

<----------------

They finally had a deal I couldn't pass up. $99 to cover 2 football seasons, plus $50 gc from gng. I actually heard about it on the podcast this morning, then saw it on FB and followed the link.

My major concern for Frenchy (other than he’s relatively short for the position) is that the offseason hasn’t shown his personal decision making has improved.
It started poorly but everyone says it has indeed improved. He's had some bad advice/development from Fisher's staff. The guy is not an extrovert and should not be expected to "lead" like one.

Well they gotta sort out the QB selection soon!

< 1 month before the season starts. And there are about 5 games I am looking forward to the first weekend. Suddenly the OSU - OSU match up is intriguing as well.

I'm still eagerly (like a beaver) awaiting a matchup between Oregon State and South Carolina.

OK, so here's a question about Francois: How does that dude have so many tattoos at such a young age? The picture below was taken at the Bama game, when he was a little over two years removed from HS. Don't you have to be 18 to get a tattoo? He must have spent every weekend at the tattoo parlor.

This isn't a criticism of tattoos, I just don't understand how you can get so many tattoos in so little time.

They aren't cheap, either. My ex got a couple of little ones back in the day, and even those were a hundy apiece.

I see lots of kids in high school with tattoos. He came to FSU with a ton. Maybe they get parent consent or something. As far as cost, there is probably someone in the neighborhood that does them cheap.

To your point, this we Derwin James in high school...

I have never understood that either. On one hand they tell us these poor kids are starving and being used. But they have 10's of thousands in tattoos. Maybe there is a guy in the neighborhood doing them; but that guy has some talent. There is no doubt just in what I can see on Francois he has 15k minimum in tats. I don't care either I have tats but when I am being told these kids are starving but you got 15k in ink on you; something doesn't add up

For the kick off weekend, Alabama and Louisville are playing. Who do you root for? While I am not a big fan of UL, it definitely benefits FSU, so go Cards. ?
Won’t change the outcome but I do expect Louisville to put up some points...more than 3 at least.

@DFSNOLE , you see that 4 page beauty on the TC. Was there a moderator group outing to have so many people asleep at the wheel?

Have you watched the first episode of this season's Last Chance U? Only took 20 minutes for the dude from Texas Tech to explain that they were getting $2,000 checks (as stipends...on top of their scholarships) every month and didn't know what to spend the money on.

I always root FSU first (along with William & Mary in FCS) and then the ACC next. And yes that includes Miami, they’re at the bottom of the ACC for my rooting interests along with Notre Dame but I will still root for Miami over even schools like Jawja, Chokelahoma, USF, UCF and others that I partially like. So I basically root for 1) FSU to win every game, 2) the ACC to when every OOC game even Notre Dame and Miami, 3) Miami and Notre Dame to lose every game within the ACC, 4) Florida to lose every game in total, 4) Bavma to louse every game except Florida, and 5) Ped State to every game other than UF and Bama.

If that guy was getting $2,000 a month, it wasn't from a stipend. In 2015-16, Texas Tech gave each student athlete $4,820 per year for cost of attendance. For reference, FSU athletes got $6,018.

Just quoting him on there.

And the point stands.
If the player is exaggerating, which is almost certainly the case, the point doesn't really stand.

The question was as much about these kids getting ink before they even reach campus. My guess is neighborhood guys and then others will give some away as free advertising.

To clarify, my question isn’t whether these kids have the means to get so many tattoos (which has racial undertones), it’s about how many they get at such a young age.
