I wouldn't rank NC state so low. They will supposedly have a better offense than we doSo my unprofessional assessment of our schedule is that from most difficult to easiest our schedule looks like this.
vs Clemson
at Notre Dame
at Miami
vs Virginia Tech
vs Boston College
at NC State
at Florida
at Louisville
at Syracuse
vs Wake Forest
vs Northern Illinoisa
vs Samford
I'm relieved to see we play in Gunsville for a second straight season. We never lose down there. So my unprofessional assessment of our schedule is that from most difficult to easiest our schedule looks like this.

No kidding. It’s not really low, we have a pretty tough schedule this year. I look at it as 6 pretty tough games (Clemson through at NC State) and 6 pretty weak games (Florida through Samford). And I was tempted to move Syracuse ahead of Florida as I like their QB and think their O will be pretty decent but I’ll wait and see how they do in their first couple of games.
Due solely to their cupcake schedule, I honestly think they'll probably win at least 8 games despite not being very good.I’m shocked that UF is that high, I would gladly swap schedules with them.

Mizzou's not a sure thing either. Drew Lock is an outstanding QB leading a prolific offense, and the Tigers have given the crocs fits since joining the SEC Least.Exactly.

I think they’re criznap but realistically who are they going to lose to? FSU, Jawja and Miss State are guaranteed losses, but other than that it’s just some toss ups to LSU and South Cackalacky and then the rest is total garbage. They can be worse than last year and still skate to 7 wins.

Quite funny, but it underscores my belief it's a foregone conclusion Alabama and Clemson will meet for the championship and that there's a huge drop-off after those two.

So 10-2 at worst. Got it.
Maybe they'll start their own "Champions of Life" thingy.
Sorry we were not every bit as good. I like this team and Taggart but we were not equal to Alabama or Clemson. If you are looking for some reasons to set higher expectations:
1) The team loves their coaches and have been looking real good and practicing real hard.
2) This 7-6 team last year was every bit as good as Alabama on Labor day. We imploded a bit on special teams ..and then Frenchy got hurt... and THEN Jimbo got distracted...
There is plenty of elite talent on this team.

Here is what I found > https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...r-player-eligibility-jimbo-fisher/1052434002/So Jimbo Fisher and aTm are getting ready to be blown up by a disgruntled former player allegedly giving details about payoffs.
We shall see.
(Schadenfreude growing)
I think Ohio state is legit and if the young QB is good USC has talent to compete.Quite funny, but it underscores my belief it's a foregone conclusion Alabama and Clemson will meet for the championship and that there's a huge drop-off after those two.
I like Washington to make the Playoff...They're talented & experienced, well-coached, and have a manageable schedule. After that, I was going to pick tOSU, but now I'm skeptical as to whether the Buckeyes can successfully navigate the toughest division/conference in college football given all the distractions.I think Ohio state is legit and if the young QB is good USC has talent to compete.
