It's raining every day at this time in Tally. I'm eager to see us ground it out if it's a wet track Monday night.
I want to see/expect at least 200 yards game rushing and 5.5 yds. per carry for the season. Am I being unrealistic?
You could go full TC and ask for 700 yards of total O and a D that holds opponents to under 100 every game.
I'm very superstitious (more so the older I get, it seems), and it appears that the more robust this thread has been over time, the more good things have occurred for our athletic programs (and alumni).
Hope we don't have to in order to charm the season, but it would be nice to do it.
Possibly a bit with our schedule. We should hit that mark in the first 5-6 weeks...tougher sledding after that.
I'd like to see a gold jersey with white pants and a garnet helmet...It'll never happen though.
There wasn't enough excitement already with that?
Sorry, I know you agree, not trying to be combative with you. I'm just amazed that Taggart (who's really touting the whole "tradition" thing since he's been here) would allow this to happen on this day for this game.
1-1 in the All Blacks and 1-1 in the All Whites since 2008.
1-1 in All Garnet (two bowl games under Fisher)
62-17 (.785) in Garnet and Gold
35-13 (.729) in White and Gold
103 of Fisher's 106 games were in the 'traditional' unis. We played Okie State in All Whites - turned out OK.
Not really a fan of All White.
All Garnet and All Black is Alright in my book occasionally.
Florida's entertaining in a Benny Hill sense.
The original all black unis were an abomination! I think it was against BC and Drew Weatherford was QB. Those things were so bad, like 80s high school level bad. The shirts had mesh and you could see the white pads underneath. Just terrible! Probably why most fans got turned off with alt unis for FSU.
Personally I was turned off by them because they were BLACK. I couldn't care less if they looked like black armor, the bottom line is they are black. The official school colors are Garnet & Gold. I deal with white because it is tradition and widely accepted that white is a uniform color, though in all honesty I don't like the all white uniforms for FSU football.

Easy now - those teal colors we don in November are to honor Native American Heritage month and our ties with the Seminoles.

I am aware of that but it still doesn’t change the fact that they are quite harsh on the eyes.
