Looking forward to watching him.Major league debut for Touki today in the first half of the doubleheader.
Not a bad debut for the kid. Gave up 2 hits in 6 innings with the Bravos up 8-1.Major league debut for Touki today in the first half of the doubleheader.
Liked the way he pitched his way out of the second inning. Not a bad debut for the kid. Gave up 2 hits in 6 innings with the Bravos up 8-1.
Need to sweep the series not just the DH.
Well, if that douche for Miami doesn't get a severe suspension and fine, I won't watch baseball any more. That was about as classless as Steve Spurrier.
Heard on the radio this morning xrays were negative, and Acuna will be day to day. Prolly has a major, and painful, bruise right now. Thank God nothing was broken.
This is the first post in this thread. I think this is what we all thought. This has been a fun season.no expectations of a winning season here. Actually I think it would be amazing to even finish .500. What say you

Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Urena has received a six-game suspension and an undisclosed fine for intentionally hitting Ronald Acuna Jr. of the Atlanta Braves with a pitch in the bottom of the first inning of Wednesday night's game at SunTrust Park in Atlanta. Joe Torre, Chief Baseball Officer for Major League Baseball, made the announcement.
Unless appealed, Urena's suspension is scheduled to begin tomorrow, when the Marlins are to play the Washington Nationals at Nationals Park. If he elects to appeal, then the discipline issued to Urena will be held in abeyance until the process is complete.
In addition, Braves first base coach Eric Young has received a one-game suspension and an undisclosed fine for his actions during the incident. Young's suspension will be served tonight, when the Braves are scheduled to host the Colorado Rockies.
If Mattingly tries to give Urena the ball against Atlanta....I hope he has a lengthy appeals process (if he appeals) so that he still gets to bat against Atlanta in the next Braves/Marlins series the weekend after this.
This is game one of a doubleheader.24-4 Mets now. It'll be nice going into tonights game knowing that the Braves can't lose ground.
I hope the Mets aren't later wishing they'd saved some runs for game 2 then. This is game one of a doubleheader.
My first thought as well. Maybe they can just make this an 18 inning game and just keep going.I hope the Mets aren't later wishing they'd saved some runs for game 2 then.
Stop me if you've heard this one before... The Braves get a good outing from their starter, hand the lead to the bullpen, the pen blows it and the Braves lose.![]()
I am with you .... puzzling.I really like Brian Snitker and the job he has done with this young team but I don't get the way he uses the bullpen at all.
I don't think there's a bigger "in the moment poster" on Warchant.Do not know what to make of this team ... just when it looked like this team was catching fire the bats go dead and the pitching falls apart. Think it will be a struggle to make the playoffs and, if they do, I don’t expect to get very far.
