Will these umps have the balls to call an illegal pitch against her when her foot lands outside the circle? I bet not.
Foot is outside and she kicks the paint when she has the opportunity. Will these umps have the balls to call an illegal pitch against her when her foot lands outside the circle? I bet not.
She crow hops on nearly every pitch. Will these umps have the balls to call an illegal pitch against her when her foot lands outside the circle? I bet not.
Has Lonni brought it up with the umps??She crow hops on nearly every pitch.

I don't think that I have ever seen an ump call the p for stepping out of the circle. Fouts has such a long stride and does it all the time and I thank that is acceptable. For them to call outside of the pitching lane they generally do not call unless the foot is completely out of the lane. My question is why Coacha, the pitching guru, does not have all of her pitchers pushing off the rubber, as Kat does, rather than just standing on it like Kenny. Simple physics - use your legs more in pitching to get more power. Will these umps have the balls to call an illegal pitch against her when her foot lands outside the circle? I bet not.

It's called the Sooner strut. Happens just before she throws illegal pitch after illegal pitch. What is what that weird dance the sooner pitcher was doing before every pitch
I know I am still proud of this program and these ladies. Both of her feet are also off the ground after she pushes off. That's an illegal pitch as well. Or at least it was for Reid 5 times.
More like Crawfordville or Havana... Norman is a suburb of OKC.I know I am still proud of this program and these ladies.
Wouldn't trade anything to do with our softball program with any other program in the country.
Unless we could convince Tampa or Jacksonville to build a state of the art softball diamond to hold the World Series at every year.
FSU's best bet for that would be if the Clearwater venue where it plays the early-season tournament every year spends the next decade building up that venue with one particularly nice stadium. OKC has the contract through 2035 and I'm sure has no interest in losing it. But if the sport keeps growing, maybe can sell moving the WCWS around a bit next decade.I know I am still proud of this program and these ladies.

I do not know of any other sport where 1 team has the luxury year after year that OU has in women's softball.I could agree with that.
I could also agree in a 3 game series.
1st and 3rd games go to the higher seed (home field advantage) with game 2 being at the other teams stadium. Hold the world series as is until the final 2.
Reid's issue was that she set her back foot, came set and then moved the back foot to the left. She did it several times later and it wasn't called. In the first OK game, it was corrected and she wasn't doing it.Both of her feet are also off the ground after she pushes off. That's an illegal pitch as well. Or at least it was for Reid 5 times.
