Yall better gear up!

It's going to get worse before it gets better. That's just where we are as a program right now, so the sooner we all come to terms with that the better (for everyone's mental health). Time to stock up on your choice of alcohol to get you through this year, and likely next, before we start to come out of this tunnel. No sense in letting bad games ruin your week. Oh, and firing another HC is definitely not the way to go and will only keep us down longer. Give Norvell a little time and lets see what happens. Until then, drink up ladies and gents!

another reminder something is wrong!

is when normal stuff happens and we are shocked .. the last few weeks the coaches have clearly taken sides .. the defense has been told to man up and the offense was then told to man up .. we clearly have seen some coaches challenging guys the offense coaches want to see the offense beat the defense .. basically for a few plays they are not your friend they are the enemy .. and go beat them ..and the team has responded and got emotional

one of the players was talking about he really had not ever seen that in practice before .. the emotion and the competition ... what? never seen that?

do you remember the goal line drills at the end of the day with mickey andrews .. good lord if the offense scored you would have though someone attacked his daughter not scored a touchdown ..dude went frickin berserk ... the goal was perfection .. beat your man and beat them every play .. relentless and never give up ..THERE WAS A BREIF TIME THAT YOU WOULD NOT THINK THESE GUYS WERE ON THE SAME TEAM

that is new to this team .. but they are clearly now competing

ENOUGH!

Fire the Coaching staff! Get new players! This is the problem, that is problem. Its Jimbo, WT or MN fault!
I understand how difficult it is to get behind this team but no one on any of these boards makes any of the decisions for FSU. We all can have an opinion and can use these message boards to voice our opinions but at some point we need to support the team. That is why we are all fans of FSU! We are terrible right now but as Charlie Ward said we need to support the team we have right now. Stop blaming this coach or that coach, just show some support. We are not Tennessee or Nebraska or any school like that. We have shown we can and will come back from this. Let's not forget that we were down prior to winning the NC in 2013. Please understand I am not trying to call anyone out rather say, we need to come together and support this team. As difficult as it seems that is what needs to happen in my opinion.

Stop expecting us to be great overnight...

The Notre Dame game was fun, but this team is still lacking a lot of talent and was never going to be great this year.

We were a 3 win team last year that lost most of our best players from last year's team. Sure, we got some good transfers but this is still a work in progress, not an overnight fix.

Once everyone realizes that it will make these games a lot more fun to watch.

That said, if we aren't a good team next year and a great team in 2023 I will be shocked. Norvell knows what he's doing and is the perfect guy for this rebuild.

This is why I can't get to excited over wins and losses: Zack Smith and Urban Meyer

We had an honest, ethical man lead our program for decades. We achieved much success during that time. I can be proud of that. But this I would never be proud of and would never be able to cheer on. I will judge Norvell not on wins and losses, but on us never becoming like Ohio State. Norvell will either turn us around or not. But if he acts in morally upright ways, then I can hold my school up as something to be proud of.

Louisville Prediction Score

Noles 30
The 'Ville 27

The Noles continue to struggle on both sides of the ball and on the sidelines/booth, but get enough breaks to squeeze past powerful and mighty Louisville. Travis has a good game against his former team as the penalties and turnovers subside for this one practice squad scrimmage. I'm looking for the law of averages, and any other silver linings, too, because we can not play any worse. Home cooking in front of 1,347 people helps, too. Sadly, there may be more bags over heads than masks on faces. Come On, Noles!

Comparing to the Clay Helton dilema

So the sports media said basically: USC fans want an amazing season or a terrible season. Why a terrible season is preferred to an average season? Bc they want to ditch Helton. Which they eventually did. USC had the choice. FSU does not. FSU is saying (against it’s will) we need to ride it out for the recruiting class and flip the roster. That requires patience. We are in the opposite position as USC. They wanted to and could afford the move. F U hand. FSU doesn’t have that. Norvell has the upper hand bc we are paying WT buyout.

Not pulling any punches!

When our President and AD start experiencing an near-empty stadium, changes will be made. So just keep turning a deaf ear to the concerns of our boosters and fanbase, Mike. We knew this was going to be a rebuilding year and truthfully didn’t expect to go bowling, so we aren’t upset about the W/L record; it’s the clown show with numerous rookie mistakes we’ve been watching for 3 games now.

Did Norvell call plays at Memphis?

If so, he needs to get back to that ASAP. Yeah, we want him to be the CEO and delegate certain details to the staff. He has the energy, work ethic and intelligence to be a solid CEO-type head coach. Well, it's not working at this stage.

The defense isn't great. I get it. But Norvell needs to take ownership of his offense. Pick a QB, have a game plan, and stick with it. We have freaking Louisville and Syracuse at home coming up. That's your season right now. Forget about the rest of the schedule, deal with it then.
