...Followed by a home loss against Clemson that I compared last night's defeat to.
"The Dynasty's really pretty much a tough-guy. Here’s a house full of bees. You think the Dynasty cares? It’s getting stung like a thousand times. It doesn’t give a crap. It doesn’t care about being stung by bees. Nothing can stop the Dynasty when it’s hungry."

Ahh shoe, losing like yesterday is a tough batch of medicine. We got whupped. OK, let’s get ready to stand behind and with the team as they prepare to play some more. The kids and coaches have no choice but to strap it on and play again.
Tech was tough. They were dialed in and ready. Obviously one game does not a season make, but those cats played a heckuva game. Give um credit.
We all know that the guy before gave up on FSU and allowed others to do so as well. It will take some heavy lifting, but the Seminoles will not quit or be relegated to a lesser status.
Hang tough. Better days are ahead. Brian Burns, Frenchie Francois, Jacques Patrick, Cory Durden and so many others will not give up on better days and victories to come.
Believe me when I say that it has been much worse in other years. This team and coaching staff will bounce back and perform up to their potential in the weeks to come. Stand strong, Seminoles. Do not stray from the course.

I know how to do that. How do I post the tweet as a photo?

From the webpage showing that tweet you can copy the URL, then in your post click the media icon (next to picture icon) and paste the URL
Then magic should happen.

Asked whether his players deliberately faked injuries, Fuente said, "My answer is we had numerous issues with cramping and guys battling through bumps and bruises and nicks and things they were fighting through."

The faking of injuries and warchant mocking will hopefully add fuel to the fire. Unfortunately, we don't play VT again until the 2023 season.

Hmmm...strange how only the defense was cramping. And it is the start of September. At night. In the rain. Isn't it still hot in Virginia?:rolleyes::rolleyes:
I nominate NF2U to do quick inspections on opponents who go down with "injuries".

We could well see them in an ACCCG...okay maybe not this year
Anyone with a brain knows they faked.

If it makes anyone feel better, I went back and looked at Nick Saban's first year at Bama: He went 6-6 during the regular season in 2007, including a loss to Louisiana-Monroe.

We came into this year with top5 talent in the country.
I posted more specific info on the FSU sports board, but got banned because talking about the quality of the kids already on campus and playing is actually talking about recruiting, and forbidden.

OK, so it doesn't make seminole97 feel better. Anyone else?
One game does not a season make. Let’s hope first game jitters are done, lessons are learned, and the Noles show deadly improvement.
There, I feel better already. Thanks, Orland.

Top 5 talent at a few positions, certainly not o-line or LB, where teams will exploit us.

This was the low point of the season and I'd rather know sooner than later if we got a paper leader or a real one. I honestly feel good because we got a gut check right away.

Defense wasn’t a problem, they did more than enough.

I was pointing to research done that shows your championship teams have a roster that is at least 50% 4* or 5* kids. In that regard we’re in the top5 nationwide right now.
Another (free) Seminole site does really good play by play breakdowns. Our kids still have a lot to pick up on ‘lethal simplicity’ when it comes to making the reads in this offense.
I do think this is the season nadir.
Beat UF and beat UM and I’ll call it a great year!

Little late here. 2nd most irritating part about the game was the announcing. They even called out something to the effect of "couple plays and this could be a 31-3 game at half." True, but same logic and it could have been a 10-10 tie.

On the upside, FSU and ATMU will both have a 1-1 record after this weekend.

I didn't have huge expectations for this season, but see that the O-line has yet to be fixed and likely looks worse than they did last year.

Someone who played college ball will have to explain what our three players in the middle are doing. Because it looks to me like nothing.
