anyone got any ideas?

We get into Munich on this Friday morning and that night Germany plays Spain in what is the best/most-intriguing of the International friendlies coming up this week and next.

Any Munich experts here know of a good sports bar in the old town historic district? I’d love to watch Germany play IN Germany.

Like I said...it’s a shot in the dark, but figured it couldn’t hurt to ask.

Would think any pub with a TV would have that game on!

Never been but Kilians Irish Pub in Munich is where the Limey soccer fans gather. It would probably be where I would head (if I even tolerated the foosball and I don’t).

And they are carrying it on tv per this so you’re welcome.

See if the Hofbrau Haus has TV's.
It doesn't. Not even in the garden area, which would be awesome but impossibly crowded. I'm betting a bunch of the traditional spots won't have the game on to keep the riffraff out.

My suggestion is for OP to walk around downtown until they see a crowd they want to be part of.

I’ll arrive in Munich on Friday as well. I can’t remember seeing any TVs in the traditional beer halls on my previous visit although almost every pub will.
