Can someone enlighten me on why Rick Trickett is viewed by many - or we're at least made to believe viewed by many - as this All-Universe offensive line coach? I, for one, just don't see it.
He just seems to consistently have the weakest segment of FSU's offense. Even last year when 5 seniors started the first few games of the season, the OL was absolutely horrendous. It took a super-talented freshman tackle to solve FSU's OL issues last year instead of Trickett's "amazing" ability to coach up inexperienced centers (Barron followed by Hoefeld).
One year later and guess what? The OL will likely be the reason for FSU not being in Charlotte in December and possibly the National Playoff.
