The Braves are -145 at LA tonight! When do you think was the last time the Dodgers were dogs at home?
He had a tremendous August just like the Dodgers as a team. Acuna is still the betting favorite but not by much.
Massive weekend so far for the Braves...The lead for best record in the NL is now 6 over L.A. and 6 over both the Orioles and Dodgers for MLB's best record. I find it remarkable that Atlanta actually has managed to strengthen its position during this ten-game west coast road trip!
Remember this post if they drop the next two and finish 7-3 on the trip.
Was thinking going into Thursday that I'd take two out of four, no problem.
Fried with another outstanding game. And Acuna is just remarkable... up and down the lineup Braves hitters are a nightmare for opposing pitchers.

The magic number keeps dropping while the lead over the second place fillies keeps rising, up to a whopping 16.5 now.
The division race has basically been over for a while now, BUT Philly still leads the WC standings by a considerable margin The projected playoff bracket has them facing Atlanta in the division series!
In light of what occurred a year ago, I have a healthy respect for the fillies and want nothing to do with them in a short series. With the power throughout their lineup, they're truly never out of a game...a fact that's supported by their leading MLB in come from behind victories.
Not unexpected loss today, but the good news is Olson got off the schneid with a home run... Hopefully this gets him going again for the home stretch.
Gonna have to hope to get some help against the Braves' pursuers tonight. The Marlins have the Dodgers on the ropes, 6-3 in the 8th...so that's a good start. The fillies and Orioles play later.
